Panel mounting prints with vacuum heat press

Feeling at home, in its photographic printing laboratory in Alghero, is equipped for the panel mounting service of photographic prints on rigid supports. This is achieved with a vacuum heat press which represents the excellence of mounting and lamination for artistic and photographic prints.

Our large-format press works flat and couples materials under vacuum with heat, perfectly panel mounting any print onto a wide range of supports such as foam, forex, wood, and metal. To ensure the best result for the panel-mounted product, we first produce a quality matte print with professional Epson inkjet printers using 11 ultrachrome colours and then panel mount it (using hot vacuum technology) onto the rigid support chosen by the client, such as foam, forex, or dibond…  

Our panel mounting technology is aimed at those seeking print quality suitable for artistic exhibitions, photography, and large-format interior design installations. The panel-mounted artwork can be fixed to the wall with spacers or with concealed hooks positioned on the back of the artwork, maintaining an invisible installation in both cases. Today, the most suitable rigid support for medium and large-format panel mounting is dibond, as with a minimal thickness of 3mm it maintains exceptional flatness even on large formats; 

For those who prefer a framed solution, we offer panel mounting of the artwork on dibond with subsequent mounting of the panel inside a box frame; Alternatively, we offer framing with an American box frame that gives the impression that the panel is floating within the frame (float frame). This is also an elegant and minimalist solution, ideal for those who prefer to frame the artwork without detracting from the subject.
